Trail is Buttermilk Falls Campground. The friendly people of Eagles Mere like to hang out nearby. Camping is available at Hemlock Valley Campground, and get dripping wet paddling on Schrader Creek. The annual rainfall here at Walnut
| Trail is about average. Of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is January. During the summer months at Walnut Trail highs are ordinarily in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Walnut Trail temperatures descend to the 10's. | |
