Area. A pleasant spree to Gates Meadow is a good way to spend an afternoon. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Shohola Creek. You're sure to encounter some friendly people from Tafton here,
| and Decker Swamp Dam has fine water scenery. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! White Deer Trail is unbeatable! There's whitewater on Lackawaxen River for all you adrenaline people. All through the summertime months highs here at White Deer Trail get into the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at White Deer Trail sink into the 10's. | |
