| | We all need to get out in nature once in a while and if you happen to be in Clinton County of Pennsylvania, Wideview Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. You'll have to go far from Lock Haven to get to Wideview Trail but hiking is such a fun thing to do and this is a great place to do that. White and Burney Hollow is a brilliant site to go to near Wideview Trail; as expected Hensel Fork is a striking stream that is worth a visit. Cross Fork has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby, and there are plenty of people from Lock |
Haven here.
This river is so wonderful. Take a side spree to McNerny Branch, and if you came to camp Austin Campground is a perfect place to do that. Paddling on Young Womans Creek is so much fun; camping at Ox Yoke Inn is always a pleasant experience. If only every spot had
| this much outdoors cool things, what a great planet it would be.
The yearly rainfall here at Wideview Trail is about average; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain; January is the month with the least moisture. At Wideview Trail all through the warm months highs are in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are frequently in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Wideview Trail.
