| | You'll have to go far from Lewistown to get to Woodburn Trail but trails like these are great. Pennsylvania is a great place for hikers. Woodburn Trail is a glorious site to camp, Dogwood Acres is a glorious site. Woodburn Trail is a good place of typical rain; June is when you get the most rain here, and January is the month with the least moisture.

Area, and Conewago Creek - West is a magnificent whitewater spot close by. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Woodburn Trail. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's with temperatures at Woodburn Trail dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights.
