If you come at the right time of year, White Deer Creek offers some nice whitewater, and nearby you locate good sites like Cranberry Gap. Through the summer months highs here at Yankee Run Trail get into the 80's, and the overnight is quite colder of course, generally     in the 50's. Highs during the winter are usually in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Yankee Run Trail. Drift down the rapids of Elk Creek in a kayak; Cranberry Flat is right here at Yankee Run Trail. Yankee Run Trail is a good site of common precipitation; through the month of June you get the most rain around here; January meanwhile is the driest month.
