Ballena Trail

  It's a long drive from Yauco to Ballena Trail but it sure is a nice trail. If you come at the right time of year, Areciebo River offers some good whitewater. Enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Playa de Jaboncillo, and soar down the rapids of Guabo River in a kayak. Hit the beach if you want, Playa de Tamarindo is practically right here, and Ballena Trail is a location with many visitors from Guanica. You are near Bahia de la Ballena since you're here at Ballena
    Trail; there's a nice forest called Bosque Estatal de Guanica. Ballena Trail is right next door to Hoya Hondo which is certainly worth going to. High temperatures at Ballena Trail during the summertime are in the 90's. For the duration
of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 80's, and night lows during the winter for Ballena Trail tend to be in the 60's. Ballena Trail ordinarily gets a great deal of rainfall. The wettest month of the year is typically September, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is February.
