| | When was the last time you got out in nature a bit? Big Tree Trail in Rio Grande County, Puerto Rico is the outdoors at it's best. A day at La Pared Beach right next door to Big Tree Trail is time well spent, and it's a great idea to check out Rio de la Mina. The high level of precipitation makes Big Tree Trail a pretty wet location; November is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is February.

too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in close proximity to Big Tree Trail. One of the best things about Big Tree Trail is its proximity to Balneario Luquillo. High temperatures at Big Tree Trail during the summertime months are in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down
| to the 70's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 80's; nighttime lows in the 70's for Big Tree Trail.
Coming to this river is always a good idea. A nice forest right next door to Big Tree Trail is Caribbean National Forest, and Big Tree Trail is near Quebrada Juan Diego which is absolutely worth stopping at. While visiting this area in Puerto Rico it's a good idea to go hiking too. A pleasant spree to Bano de Oro is a magnificent way to spend an afternoon, and do put some time aside to spend at Catarata de la Mina while you're here at Big Tree Trail.
