La Hoya Trail is a trail quite far from Yauco but many people like to hike here to be close to nature. Through the summertime here at La Hoya Trail, high temperatures typically get into the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 80's; winter nights come with lows in the 60's to La Hoya Trail. La Hoya Trail is near La Covana which is positively worth going to. Playa de Tamarindo is in the neighborhood of La     Hoya Trail if you're in a beach type of mood, and there's a wonderful forest called Bosque Estatal de Guanica. La Hoya Trail is not far at all from Yauco; there are some pleasant whitewater spots on Anasco River. Enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Playa de Jaboncillo, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Guabo River.
