Puerto Rico is a great outdoors state. What a site this is for outdoors people. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Velez Trail. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 60's. Highs throughout the winter are usually in the 80's, and winter nights come with lows in the 60's to Velez Trail. Bahia de la Ballena is close to Velez Trail and is a magnificent location to pop by; get dripping wet paddling on Areciebo River. A perfect beach     near Velez Trail is Playa de Tamarindo, and La Covana is a nice place to go to. close to Velez Trail you'll discover a wooded neighborhood called Bosque Estatal de Guanica, and this is a popular site for people from Yauco. All the water falling down from the sky makes Velez Trail a wet site; the month with most of the rain is September; February meanwhile is the driest month.
