Is this correct? Sara: From Walhalla, take 28 north/east and bear right on 107. You will pass oconee State Park, and then park at Cherry Hill Campground. The trail is behind Cherry Hill campground. This part of South Carolina is always a pleasure to visit during hiking season. You'll have to go far from Seneca to get to Winding Stairs Trail but there's great natural beauty awaiting you along it. That right there is heaps already, but it continues; Winding Stairs Trail has it all. Moody Spring is always fun to check out, and at Winding Stairs Trail you always meet someone from Seneca. Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to     get out in nature a bit and Winding Stairs Trail in Oconee County, South Carolina is a great place to go. Winding Stairs Trail is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Burrel Place Campground is a splendid local campground, and why not stop at close by West Fork Crane Creek while you're here at Winding Stairs Trail. All the water falling down from the sky makes Winding Stairs Trail a wet location; March is when you get the most rain here, and April meanwhile is the driest month. Don't forget to take a brilliant little trip to Crane Creek, and in the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Chattooga River - East Fork. During the summer here at Winding Stairs Trail, high temperatures usually reach the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration   of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and overnight lows at Winding Stairs Trail through the wintertime regularly descend into the 20's. So much entertaining stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains, just tremendous. There's so much to do here at Winding Stairs Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Moody Spring Campground is a delightful location for that, and whitewater paddling is great on Chattooga River.
