Silver Arrow Trail   Was on ''50 mile hike'' with Boy Scouts in 1972. Scout Master forgot to account for the ups and downs of the trail on the topographic map so ended up being a ''75 mile hike.''  Ugh. Says Ken Uhlman Made the wrong turn in 1965 as a Boy Scout trying to find Campu Judson.  Troop hiked on the trail from Lake Sheridan to Mt. Rushmore instead.  Extremely grueling with the unplanned additional milage.  Brother and I returned in 2006 and found where we     years before missed the turn.  Spectacular backpacking !!!! Enjoyed it much more as an old guy versus a Boy Scout.
