is a wet place that gets a lot of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is generally March, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is October. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Appalachian National Scenic Trail highs are mostly in the 80's, and the nighttime is a bit colder of course, commonly in the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's; night lows at Appalachian National Scenic Trail through the wintertime mostly dip into the 20's.
Ekaneetlee Gap is a wonderful site to spend some time at, and Cable Cove Campground is a perfect local campground.
