| | It's a long drive from Cleveland to Arbutus Trail but It's always fun to hike here. Arbutus Trail ordinarily gets a great deal of rainfall; March is the wettest month with most rain; October is the month with the least moisture. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. Take a side tour to Silvermine Branch, and Ram Pump Spring is a wonderful place to visit while you're at Arbutus Trail. The wonderful people of Cleveland like to hang out nearby. McCamy Branch is a brilliant local stream, and a day at Shady Beach is time well spent. Get your |
heart pumping on the great whitewater of Big Creek; not far from Arbutus Trail you get some great water scenery at McCamy Dam. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Arbutus Trail has to offer, you can camp at Ocoee River Rats, and since you're here why not explore
| Rattlesnake Hollow. McCamy Spring is always fun to check out, and you can stay the night at A and B Campground. With so many outdoors activities available in Tennessee you'll never get bored. Beaches are magnificent; and Parksville Beach near Arbutus Trail is no exception; you can run the rapids of Ocoee River. Throughout the long summer days at Arbutus Trail temperatures are usually in the 80's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's while Arbutus Trail night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 20's. | |
