  Hiking here in Tennessee is a must. This river is always fun. Brookshire Creek Trail is a splendid spot to camp, Twin Lakes Park is a splendid spot, and there's whitewater on Settingdown Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers. You'll have to go far from Gainesville to get to Brookshire Creek Trail but you always have a good time when you're hiking along it.
A visit to Sawnee Gap is always fun, and getting to Kelley Mill Branch from Brookshire Creek Trail is uncomplicated. For the period of the warm days of summer at Brookshire Creek Trail highs
    are commonly in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Brookshire Creek Trail. Stay the night at Lake Lanier Island Campground, and Pine Lake Dam has magnificent water
scenery.
Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is a wonderful local destination here at Brookshire Creek Trail, and get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Amicalola Creek.
