  Hiking trails are all over the Great Smoky Mountains where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains. Tennessee is a great place for hikers. Through the months of summer highs here at Clark Creek Trail reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are mostly in the 40's while Clark Creek Trail nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's.
Finally, hiking time is here again, and Clark Creek Trail in Unicoi County, Tennessee is the outdoors at it's best.
    Stay the night at Horse Creek Campground, and since you're here, you could take a look at Chigger Branch. This river is a great place to visit. Don't leave Clark Creek Trail without first paying a visit to Buckeye Falls, and a nice site is Beanwallow Gap.
All the water falling
down from the sky makes Clark Creek Trail a wet location; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain while October is mostly the driest month. Clark Creek Trail is a long drive away from Johnson City but it is a fun place to hike for the whole family. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. While you're here at Clark Creek Trail you will meet lots of folks from close by Johnson City.
Now, you may think that's heaps but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Great Smoky Mountains. Longarm Branch flows through
 
this neighborhood, and there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Nolichucky River. Clark Creek Trail is a glorious site to camp, Pebble Mountain Family is a glorious site, and if you come at the right time of year, Spivey Creek offers some perfect whitewater.
