Through the months of summer highs here at Clark Creek Trail reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are mostly in the 40's while Clark Creek Trail nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's.

Stay the night at Horse Creek Campground, and since you're here, you could take a look at Chigger Branch. This river is a great place to visit. Don't leave Clark Creek Trail without first paying a visit to Buckeye Falls, and a nice site is Beanwallow Gap.
