These mountains rock, just explore all the exciting things to do in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Little Piney Creek; a spree to nearby Fooshee Peninsula is very relaxing. Fooshee Pass Trail is located quite a long drive from Athens but it sure is a nice trail.

| here at Fooshee Pass Trail. At Fooshee Pass Trail you always meet someone from Athens, and if you came for an overnight stay Stump Hollow Campground is a brilliant place to camp.
All the water falling down from the sky makes Fooshee Pass Trail a wet spot; through the month of March you get the most rain around here; October meanwhile is the driest month. Red Cloud Campground is a magnificent campground here, and of course Wann Branch flows through this vicinity. Brown Hollow is near Fooshee Pass Trail and is a magnificent location, and if you come at the right time of year, White's Creek offers some glorious whitewater.
