You'll have to go far from Athens to get to Fooshee Pass Trail but many people like to hike here to be close to nature. In the Cumberland Plateau Mountains there are many great hiking trails where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains.
Tennessee is a great place for hikers. For the period of the warm days of summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Fooshee Pass |
Trail. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Fooshee Pass Trail. Wann Branch is a pleasant site to go to, and Brown Hollow is positively a brilliant place to stop at.

If you come at the right time of year, Little Piney Creek offers some nice whitewater, and if you came for an overnight stay Stump Hollow Campground is a brilliant site to camp. So much entertaining stuff in the vicinity of Fooshee Pass Trail, completely astonishing.
