Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in nature a bit and if you happen to be in Carter County of Tennessee, Holston Mountain Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Holston River, and obviously Right Fork Mill Creek flows through this region. Near Holston Mountain Trail you discover Flint Mill Gap which is a good place |
to explore; if you came for an overnight stay Low Gap Campground 2 is a wonderful location to camp.
Holston Mountain Trail is a good place of typical rain; the wettest month of the year is frequently July, that's the one that rains the most, and October on the other hand is
| the driest. This is a popular place for people from Bristol, and there's some flowing water close by, Left Fork Mill Creek is a stream you can stop by while here. So much amusing stuff to do here at Holston Mountain Trail, too tremendous to be true.
Get your pulse rate up on the nice whitewater of Doe River - Laurel Fork, and Low Gap Campground 1 is a brilliant local campground. All through the days of summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Holston Mountain Trail. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's; night lows at Holston Mountain Trail through the wintertime generally drop into the 20's.
