| | In the Great Smoky Mountains you'll find lots of hiking trails, it's a great hiking area. Ivy Trail typically gets a great deal of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is March, and October is when it's the driest. The warmest time of the year at Ivy Trail comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and the night is slightly cooler of course, typically in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Ivy Trail.

very near Athens at all but hiking along this trail is very enjoyable. All the outdoors entertaining things in the Great Smoky Mountains will keep you coming back time and again. There's whitewater on Hiwassee River for all you thrill seekers; you'll most likely meet some folks

Some of the water close by flows, like Spurling Branch. Camping at Tellico Plains Koa is always a great experience, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Edmunson Branch. Hitting the trails is always a fun thing to do and Ivy Trail in Monroe County, Tennessee is a perfect place for getting out.
This river has it all. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Coker Creek, and if you came to camp Coker Creek Village is a delightful location to do that. | |
