from Johnson City. It's a wonderful idea to check out Turkey Trail Branch, it's in close proximity to Little Dark Hollow Trail, and float down the rapids of Nolichucky River in a kayak. Little Dark Hollow Trail gets lots of water; the wettest month of the year is commonly July,
| that's the one that rains the most while October is frequently the driest month.
As long as you like the outdoors you will like Tennessee. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Nolichucky River, and Unaka Mountain Campground is a nice campground nearby. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Little Dark Hollow Trail. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. Highs throughout the winter are typically in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Little Dark Hollow Trail.
