A magnificent place to camp here at Lowry Falls Trail is Gee Creek Campground, and
| if you're dropping by from Athens, you won't be the only one. Outdoors people generally like this part of Tennessee. This river is so good. Gee Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot close by, and since you're here why not pop by Hiwassee Gap.
Lowry Falls Trail sees pretty high levels of precipitation; most of the rain falls all through March, and October on the other hand is the driest.
