Hiking here in Tennessee is a must. All through the summertime months highs here at Morrill Trail reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Morrill Trail. Camping is available at Low Gap Campground 1; at Morrill Trail you always meet someone from Bristol. Morrell Creek flows through this area, and a great place to stop     at nearby is Low Gap. If you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Holston River, and there's some flowing water close by, Little Branch is a stream you can check out while you're here. The yearly precipitation here at Morrill Trail is about average; most of the rain falls through July, and October meanwhile is the driest month. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Doe River, and while you're here, do take a spree to Holston High Point. Man, is there a heap of amusing things to do in close proximity to Morrill Trail.
