Yates Hollow is next to Patty Ridge Trail and is beyond doubt a good site to take a look at, and Patty Creek is close to Patty Ridge Trail and is always a pleasure to go to. Coming to this river is always a good idea. There's so much to do here at Patty Ridge Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Nolichucky Gorge Campground is a magnificent location for that, and lots of people |
from Johnson City come here.
You'll need more than a day to explore everything Patty Ridge Trail has to offer, you can camp at Bigrock Campground; get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Nolichucky River. Patty Ridge Trail gets a great deal of water; July is when
| you get the most rain here, and the driest month is October.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Summertime highs at Patty Ridge Trail generally tend to be in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Patty Ridge Trail. Put some time aside to spend at Yates Spring while you're here at Patty Ridge Trail, and there's some flowing water nearby, Fowler Branch is a stream you can pop by while here.
