Stratton Meadows is a pretty spot any time of year, and there are some great whitewater spots on Santeetlah River. Tennessee is a great outdoors state. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Doublecamp Creek, and you can stay the night at Jake Best Campground. The high level of rain makes South Fork Citico Trail a pretty wet place; March is when you get the most rain here, and     October is when it's the driest. Stratton Meadows is a great place to check out; Falls Branch is in the vicinity of South Fork Citico Trail and is always a diversion to pop by. South Fork Citico Trail being so far away from the nearest city it is a great escape from the city. For the duration of the summer months here at South Fork Citico Trail, high temperatures generally get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's.
