The spuce thicket trail is in bad shape.The flood in 2002 did alot of damage and the pine beetles that detroyed most of the pines in the area have left many blow downs I would not recommend this trail.

Near Spruce Thicket Trail you come across Bullen Hollow which is a good place to check out, and there are some good whitewater spots on Brush Creek.
