| | When was the last time you got out in nature a bit? Unicoi Trail in Polk County, Tennessee is the outdoors at it's best. As long as you like the outdoors you will like Tennessee. You'll have to go far from Athens to get to Unicoi Trail but hiking it is always fun.
There's whitewater on Coker Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and a pleasant place to camp here at Unicoi Trail is Coker Creek Village. This is such a fun river. While you're here at Unicoi Trail it's a good idea to stop by Tillery Flat, and Buck Gap is another tremendous spot |
to pop by close by. Just can't get enough of the Great Smoky Mountains. A pleasant visit to Cooper Flat is a good way to spend an afternoon; there's some flowing water close by, Roberts Branch is a stream you can stop by while here.
Why not camp at Tellico Plains Koa while
| you're here at Unicoi Trail, and you can run the rapids of Turtletown Creek. Man, is there heaps of cool things to do close to Unicoi Trail. Mill Branch flows through this neighborhood. High temperatures at Unicoi Trail throughout the warm days of summer are in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 40's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Unicoi Trail temperatures plunge to the 20's.

Trail a wet site; March is when you get the most rain here, and October is when it's the driest. In the Great Smoky Mountains there are many great hiking trails, it's a great hiking area.
