Apache Canyon Trail

  If you are in Texas during hiking season you have to go hiking. A great place for whitewater paddling close to Apache Canyon Trail is Rio Grande, and if time allows, Big Bend National Park is a national park worth visiting. Since you're here at Apache Canyon Trail why not have a look at Burro Mesa Pouroff, and you can run the rapids of Terlingua Creek. Apache Canyon Trail is good enough to spend more than a day at, Big Bend Motor Inn is a good local campground.
