It is very waterless here at Chimneys Trail mostly; the month with most of the rain is September while March is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Big Bend Motor Inn is a great campground here. Big Bend National Park is one of the destinations near Chimneys Trail that are wonderful to go to; get yourself into a kayak and hit Terlingua Creek. If you come at the right time of year, Rio     Grande offers some nice whitewater; Chimneys Trail is a splendid site to camp, B J RV Park is a splendid site. High temperatures at Chimneys Trail during the days of summer are in the 100's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 70's.
