| | As long as you like the outdoors you will like Texas. Because Chimneys Trail is very far from civilization it is a really good trail. At Chimneys Trail through the summer highs are in the 100's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 70's. The winter brings highs down to the 60's while Chimneys Trail nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 30's. Chimneys Trail is generally a reasonably dehydrated site; during September this area sees the most rain; March on the other hand is the driest.
Camping at Big Bend Motor Inn is always |
a good experience, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Terlingua Creek. Camping is available at B J RV Park; Burro Spring is an inspiring site to have a look at during your stay.
Lots of fun awaits you along this river. Don't miss out on a spree to Big Bend National Park while you're here at Chimneys Trail.
