Dana Peak Park Trail   Please I love to hike especially for a good cause. Says Mary Kittrell The park is open everyday of the week. The walking/trail/bike area is not actually in the paid section of the park and you can go anytime. It is full of identifiable trails with surprisingly nice views along the way. It is not crowded. Saturday morning you will see some dog walkers, but a nice group of people ALWAYS!! I live beside the park, and it's always got a safe feeling.     Take water, there is none along the way.
