Kerr Wildlife Management Area Trail
| | We have had several disappointed visitors show up at the Kerr WMA due to this website. To be clear, the Kerr WMA is a research and demonstration site owned by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. It is not a state park and we do not have all the amenities of such. There is no overnight camping allowed and hiking is limited to one existing trail and paved roads due to on-going research on native and endangered species. Visitors are welcome to drive the |
main road and bathrooms are available. Says D. Frels - Area Manager, TPWD
