| | Northshore Trail is a trail quite far from Dallas -Fort Worth-Arlington but hiking along this trail is very enjoyable. At Northshore Trail throughout the summer highs are in the 90's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 70's. For the period of the wintertime highs are usually in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Northshore Trail.
Camping at The Vineyards Campground on Lake Grapevine is always a nice experience; Furneaux Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby. You'll meet a lot of folks from Dallas |
-Fort Worth-Arlington here; camping is available at Wheel Estates Mobile Home. Northshore Trail gets a normal amount of annual rain; May is when you get the most rain here, and January meanwhile is the driest month.
In case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Denton Creek; why not a little side tour to Jones Branch.
