Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in nature a bit and Strawhouse Trail in Brewster County, Texas is a really good place to spend some time. At Strawhouse Trail you don’t see much precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is March. No chance of getting bored in Texas if you like the outdoors. If you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rio Grande, and if you have time,     Big Bend National Park is a national park worth going to. Be careful coming to the Chisos Mountains, you might not ever want to return home again. A great site for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Strawhouse Trail is Rio Grande. Throughout the long summer days highs here at Strawhouse Trail get into the 90's. During the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 60's; overnight lows at Strawhouse Trail throughout the wintertime frequently drop into the 30's.
