| any time of year. A short tour to Cattail Falls is always worthwhile. You'll need more than a day to explore everything The Window Trail has to offer, you can camp at Big Bend Motor Inn. Throughout the summer months, highs typically are in the 100's at The Window Trail while nighttime lows are commonly in the 70's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 60's while the cold winter nights at The Window Trail are in the 30's. Drift down the rapids of Terlingua Creek in a kayak, and Big Bend National Park is a great local destination.
