Tonkawa Trail is not very near Corsicana at all but when you spend some time hiking here you will feel like a whole new person. Waxahachie Creek - South Prong is a fine whitewater spot close to Tonkawa Trail, and why not a little side trip to Mustang Creek. Very tremendous water scenery is available at Bardwell Dam near Tonkawa Trail; Tonkawa Trail is glorious enough to spend more than     a day at, Oak Cove Marina and Campground is a glorious local campground. Tonkawa Trail is a place with many visitors from Corsicana. There's so much to do here at Tonkawa Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Clearview Store and Marina is a great place for that. At Tonkawa Trail during the months of summer highs are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 70's. For the period of the winter the highs are frequently in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Tonkawa Trail.
