| | Anderson Valley Trail is a long drive away from St. George but it is a great escape from the city. A visit to Utah is not complete without some hiking. It's always fine to stop at Death Valley Spring, and Anderson Valley is a pretty place any time of year. If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Anderson Valley Trail. Places like Syler Flat are tremendous to explore. Dam Canyon is near Anderson Valley Trail and is a fine site, and there's some flowing water nearby, Brush Creek is a stream you can go to while you're here. |
It is very dehydrated here at Anderson Valley Trail generally; most of the rain falls during July, and the driest month of the year is June. Put some time aside to spend at Syler Spring while you're here at Anderson Valley Trail, and Anderson Valley Trail is fine enough to
| spend more than a day at, Pine Lake - Dixie National Forest is a fine local campground. You'll meet a lot of folks from St. George here, and a great place to camp here at Anderson Valley Trail is Camp Services-pine Valley Rec. Summertime highs at Anderson Valley Trail usually tend to be in the 80's, and the nighttime is fairly colder of course, typically in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and night lows in the 10's for Anderson Valley Trail.
