At Big Hollow Trail during the long summer days highs are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 40's while Big Hollow Trail nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's. There are some delightful whitewater spots on Virgin River; if you came for an overnight stay Pines Campground is a good spot to camp. This river is so great. You'll meet a     lot of people from St. George here. Big Hollow Trail gets very little rainfall; all through March this area sees the most rain, and June is when it's the driest.
