Camping at South Campground is always a good experience; Hidden Canyon is also a magnificent spot to look at. Cable Mountain Trail is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Grotto Campground is a magnificent local campground; drift down the rapids of Virgin River - North Fork in a kayak. Not much rain falls here at Cable Mountain Trail;     August is when you get the most rain here; June is when it's the driest. Throughout the months of summer, highs regularly are in the 90's at Cable Mountain Trail. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Cable Mountain Trail dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. A river like this is too good to miss.
