Do pay a visit to Zion National Park while you're here at East Rim Trail. There's so much to do here at East Rim Trail that you need to camp here for a while, South Campground is a fine site for that. Zion Stadium is a beautiful spot any time of year, and The Spearhead is not far at all. Temple of Sinawava is a great location to stretch your legs a bit. You'll need more than a day to look at everything East Rim Trail has to offer, you can camp at Grotto Campground. Through the days of summer, highs typically are in the 90's at East Rim Trail. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's, and overnight lows at East Rim Trail through the wintertime mostly descend into the 10's. It is very dry here at East Rim Trail ordinarily; most of the rain falls during August, and June is the month with the least moisture.
