Why not camp at Lower Pines Campground since you're here at Gardner Peak Trail, and this is a popular site for people from St. George. Throughout the warm days of summer, highs regularly are in the 90's at Gardner Peak Trail. For the period of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's, and night lows in the 10's for Gardner Peak Trail.
    Right Fork Santa Clara River is a pretty stream that is worth checking out, and don’t forget to go to Jodes Flat since you're here at Gardner Peak Trail. If you came for an overnight stay Juniper Park Campground is a splendid site to camp, and in the event that you don't mind getting
covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Virgin River. Gardner Peak Trail is a trail quite far from St. George but it is a fun place to hike for the whole family.
