| | As long as you like the outdoors you will like Utah. In the Uinta Mountains you'll find lots of hiking trails where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains. Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and if you happen to be in Duchesne County of Utah, Highline Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching.
Naturalist Basin is a good place here at Highline Trail, and if you came to camp Highline Trail Head Campground is a pleasant location to do that. Paddling on Duchesne River is so much fun. So |
much enjoyable stuff in the Uinta Mountains, just tremendous. Whitewater paddling is great on Rock Creek, and Highline Trail is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Butterfly Campground is a tremendous local campground.
At Highline Trail you don’t see much rainfall;
| of all the months in a year February is the one with the most snow while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summer at Highline Trail arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Highline Trail are in the 10's. Highline Trail is in a quite desolate area and it sure is a nice trail.
