  A long drive separates Cedar City from Kolob Arch Trail, but hiking it is great fun any time. Not much precipitation falls here at Kolob Arch Trail; August is the wettest month with most rain; June is when it's the driest. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Kolob Arch Trail has to offer, you can camp at Kolob Canyon Road Terminus Campground; if you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Virgin River - North Fork.
Hop Valley is near Kolob Arch Trail and is undeniably a tremendous place to
    explore, and do put some time aside to spend at Beatty Spring if you're here at Kolob Arch Trail. If you're going to Kolob Arch Trail from Cedar City, you won't be the only one, and taking a little visit to close by Death Point is a tremendous idea.
Visiting Cedar Breaks National
Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. There's so much to do here at Kolob Arch Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Lava Point Campground is a wonderful place for that. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Kolob Arch Trail temperatures are generally in the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Kolob Arch Trail temperatures descend to the 10's. What a place this is for outdoors people.
