If you came to camp Butterfly Campground is a brilliant location to do that; Kamas Lake Dam is an exciting thing to check out. All year is a tremendous time in the Uinta Mountains if you adore the outdoors. There's so much to do here at Lofty Lake Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Bald Mountain Campground is a great site for that; |
Reids Meadow is a pleasant place to stretch your legs a bit.
Lofty Lake Trail is a location that is relatively dry mostly; April is when you get the most rain here, and July is the month with the least moisture. In Utah you never run out of outdoors fun.
Lofty Lake Trail
| is very far from the nearest big city and hiking is such a fun thing to do and this is a great place to do that. This is a really good river. Glide down the rapids of Rock Creek in a kayak, and if you come at the right time of year, Duchesne River offers some great whitewater.
All through the warm months here at Lofty Lake Trail, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Lofty Lake Trail dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. | |
