| | Because Notch Mountain Trail is very far from civilization it is a great escape from the city. There are many hiking trails in the Uinta Mountains where wonderful nature is waiting for you. Utah is a great place for hikers.
If you fancy a little side tour, try The Notch. Bald Mountain Campground is a delightful local campground, and paddling on Rock Creek is so much fun. At Notch Mountain Trail you don’t see much rain; April is when you get the most rain here, and July on the other hand is the driest.
