A long drive separates St. George from Point Trail, but It's always fun to hike here. Outdoors people generally like this part of Utah. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Point Trail. Paddling on Virgin River is so much fun. Point Trail gets very little rain; March is the wettest month with most rain, and June is when it's the driest.
Time to get out and breathe some fresh air, and if you happen to be in Washington County of Utah, Point Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. Here at Point Trail there are plenty
of people from St. George, and if you came to camp Upper Pines Campground is a good spot to do that. Nay Canyon is a perfect place to spend some time at, and Point Trail is good enough to spend more than a day at, Juniper Park Campground is a good local campground.
Summertime
highs at Point Trail usually tend to be in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Point Trail are in the 10's. Some of the water close by flows, like Dry Fork, also Pine Valley Reservoir Dam is worth a visit since you're here. Coming to this river is always a good idea. While you're here at Point Trail it's a glorious idea to explore Deer Flat, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Right Fork Santa Clara River.
