Pretty far from Provo-Orem you find Summit Trail but when you hike it you're always having a good time. Red Rock Pasture is a delightful place any time of year, and do visit Corral Fork while you're here at Summit Trail. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Wasatch Range where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. Summit Trail gets very little rain; the month of April is the wettest with
| most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is January. High temperatures at Summit Trail during the warmest time of the year are in the 90's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's while Summit Trail nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's.
