At The Sheep Trail you don’t see much rainfall; of all the months in a year April is the one with the most rain; the driest month is July. to camp here for a while, Maple Cove Campground is a brilliant location for that, and paddling on Big Cottonwood Creek is so much fun. All through the summertime months at The Sheep Trail temperatures are mostly in the 90's with overnight lows in the 60's. The winter comes with
| highs in the 30's with temperatures at The Sheep Trail dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Pretty far from Salt Lake City you find The Sheep Trail but there's great natural beauty awaiting you along it.
