| | It's a long drive from Provo-Orem to Willow Trail but it's one of those places where hiking is great. Willow Trail gets very little rain; April is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is January.
A pleasant visit to Middle Basin is a magnificent way to spend an afternoon, and High Mountain Campground is a good campground nearby. During the summer months at Willow Trail highs are generally in the 90's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 50's. During the winter highs are generally in the 30's while Willow Trail nighttime low temperatures |
all through the wintertime are in the 10's. North Basin is a beautiful location any time of year.
There are some great whitewater spots on Spanish Fork, and if you came for an overnight stay Nephi Koa Kampground is a delightful spot to camp.
