Big Creek is in close proximity to Allen Hollow Trail and is always a pleasure to pop by; South River - Rapidan Tributary has a good whitewater paddling spot close by. Allen Hollow Trail is a good spot of normal rainfall; of all the months in
| a year May is the one with the most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. Allen Hollow is a magnificent spot to have a look at close by; Shenandoah National Park is a great national park.
Summertime highs at Allen Hollow Trail mostly tend to be in the 80's, and the overnight is slightly chillier of course, ordinarily in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Allen Hollow Trail dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. And if that's not enough there's lots more cool stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
