You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area in the vicinity of Anderson Trail has to offer. If you came for an overnight stay Cold Sulphur Camp Ground is a splendid site to camp; drift down the rapids of Maury River in a kayak. Goshen Dam is a spot that is close to Anderson Trail; a quick trip to Glendye Branch is definitely a good idea. At Anderson Trail through the warm days of summer highs are in the     80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while Anderson Trail night low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. Anderson Trail is a wet spot that gets lots of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is mostly July, that's the one that rains the most, and December meanwhile is the driest month. Paddling on Calfpasture River is so much fun; as expected Kelso Spring Branch flows through this area. This is such a wonderful river.
