  Can’t wait to get out in nature, Bear Rock Trail in Bath County, Virginia is the outdoors at it's best. Bear Rock Trail is quite far from the nearest urban center and when you hike it you're always having a good time. At Bear Rock Trail throughout the summertime months highs are in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; night lows at Bear Rock Trail during the winter mostly fall into the 10's. Lots of precipitation falls at Bear Rock Trail; July is the month
    that gets the most rain; December is the month with the least moisture.
Don't forget to take a good little journey to Bear Hole Run, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Back Creek - Jackson Tributary. A river like this is too good to miss. Cub Run is a pretty stream that
is worth stopping at; camping is available at Hidden Valley Campground.
In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Jackson River; a wonderful site to camp here at Bear Rock Trail is Virginia Power.
